Install: `pip install agent-circuit-breaker`. The stateful RuntimeGate adds exact approvals, single-use authorization, scoped authority, and durable SQLite run state for trusted single-host integrations. Every protected side effect must be mediated. CLI/API evaluation and the MCP proxy have distinct advisory or adapter boundaries; the MCP proxy does not inherit RuntimeGate's approval and durable execution guarantees. Decisions include ALLOW, BLOCK, UNKNOWN, ERROR, and PENDING_APPROVAL. UNKNOWN is not execution authority. ACB is not an OS sandbox or distributed coordinator. Website interactions replay documented or recorded examples and never execute commands or run the Python engine. - [Structured capabilities and limits](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/agent-circuit-breaker/project.json) - [Project site](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/agent-circuit-breaker/) - [Source and quickstart](https://github.com/sagarchhatrala/agent-circuit-breaker) - [PyPI package](https://pypi.org/project/agent-circuit-breaker/) - [FAUN.toolbox listing and scorecard](https://faun.dev/toolbox/agent-circuit-breaker/): ACB is listed in FAUN.dev’s developer-tool directory. ### Horizon Agent Containment (HAC) A research prototype for deterministic containment of long-horizon agents. It tracks state, provenance, authority, and graph relationships, then evaluates whether a transition creates a capability forbidden by configured security invariants. For example, transformed secret-derived data retains its lineage and an external upload is blocked. HAC operates on explicitly modeled state and invariants. The consolidated HAC project page hosts recorded scenario replays. The executable Python engine and Streamlit demo are in the repository. ACB handles actions and trajectories; HAC investigates capabilities arising from accumulated state. The projects are independent and can be complementary. - [Source, architecture, and executable demo](https://github.com/sagarchhatrala/horizon-agent-containment) - [Project and recorded scenarios](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/horizon-agent-containment/) - [Structured HAC project facts](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/horizon-agent-containment/project.json) ### KECHAA (Kernel-Enforced Containment for Hijacked AI Agents) Open-source research prototype for authorization-bound agent tool execution. Sagar contributes as a developer and researcher. Commands are bound to task contracts and single-use signed grants, with approval workflows, replay protection, and signed audit records. Its experimental Linux backend uses Landlock, seccomp, namespaces, and cgroups to restrict command and descendant effects. See the project README for current verification gaps. - [Source and architecture](https://github.com/ruchithamohan/KECHAA-Kernel-Enforced-Containment-for-Hijacked-AI-Agents) ## Profile and contact - [Portfolio](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/) - [Structured profile JSON](https://sagarchhatrala.github.io/profile.json) - [GitHub](https://github.com/sagarchhatrala) - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/sagarchhatrala) - Email: chhatralasagar99@gmail.com Updated: 2026-11-02.
